Alsatia was formed in 2010 by Guitarist Christopher Ashlock, Vocalist Tim Long, Bassist Jason Schelp and Keyboardist Demetrius Adger . All members of the Kansas City, Missouri Metal Scene, the four set out to make music largely inspired by Keyboard driven European power metal heroes such as Stratovarius, Sonata Arctica and Children of Bodom. Along with the bands other collective influences, the music started to take form and would eventually be coined by many as “Progressive Power Metal”. The early 2011 addition of drummer Steven Quinn cemented the bands lineup and led to the recording of a 3 song demo and numerous live shows. The band are currently finishing work on their debut album, “Fields of Elysium”
