Alÿ is a progressive metal artist from Guadalajara, Mexico. Born in 1979, Alÿ has been playing guitar since 13 years old, and studied piano at the age of 8. His playing style and his way to composed music has been influenced by classical music and rock. His last band Toccata released a well received progressive rock album back in 2005 called "Circe". He also recorded a classical music album (Flute and Guitar) and made original arrangements for it. Alÿ released his first album under his own moniker in 2008.
