AMARA was a progressive metal project from Portland, Oregon, United States. Started in 2005, Amara consisted of Leo Adan Alaniz (vocals), Juan Carlos Caceres (guitar), Jaime Villescas (bass) and Ryan Stabach.
In July 2007, Amara self-released their only output, an experimental metal album called Gnosis Temple. By 2009 the project was unfortunately at an end, although the album remains available to download on Bandcamp.
