Anachronos is a progressive metal band from Santiago de Chile, Chile. The band was formed in 2005 by Alexandro Torres (guitars) and Alvaro Urbina (bass), who previously had played together in thrash metal act Exile. When Rodrigo Villena (drums) and later Alonso Quijada (keyboards) joined they were ready to go, and in 2009 they recorded their initial effort Aquí y afuera, which was subsequently released by progressive rock label Mylodon Records. Their newest line up features the two founding members, and Ingrid Contreras (vocals), Alonso Quijada (keyboards) and Christian Arriagada (drums).
