Anah Aevia is a Christian metalcore band from Lansing in Michigan, formed in late 2000 by the members of Blissfield, a rapcore band from Saint Johns, Michigan.
In February 2001 the band entered the studio record the EP "Statistical and Diagnostic Manual of Mental Disorders 7th ed." on the independent record label Selah Records.
After the release of the EP the band began performing regularly in the lower Great Lakes region, rapidly gaining a strong following.
The band followed up their EP with the full length Album "Realize You're Dead" in 2002 garnering positive reviews, which was supported by heavy touring.
After some Member shuffling in 2003 "The Machines" EP was released as a download only on the band's now defunct official website. Following the release they played the summer Christian Music festival circuit. In August of that year the band embarked on tour with label mates Bestiary and Bloodlined Calligraphy.
