ANIHILATED is an UK thrash metal act from Ipswich, formed in 1981 under the PROSPEX monicker. They originally played punk, but soon started incorporating heavy metal riffing, and subsequently played a crossover thrash metal style when they put out their first label release: The 1986 "Path to Destruction" EP. Eventually they ended up playing a more straight thrash metal style.
ANIHILATED released their debut full-length studio album "Created in Hate" in 1988. They released the "The Ultimate Desecration" album in 1989 before calling it quits. ANIHILATED reunited in 2008 and has been pretty active since.
