AnsoticcA is a German symphonic metal band, formed in 2008 by guitarist Adrian Delborg. Their initial lineup featured Carie Van Heden (Vocals), Vincent LaBoor (Guitars), Jay Zee (Bass), Maarten De Vries (Keyboards) and Zack Rabart (Drums). They released their full length debut titled Rise in 2010 through Rockfeld Records. The album featured a modern style of symphonic metal with a very aggressive guitar sound, occasional gothic atmospheres, power metal elements, and Carie's light and clear vocals. Shortly after the album was released the band went quiet for a long period, but in August 2013 Adrian released a statement saying they were returning with a new lineup, and that work had begun on a new album.
