Apostate is a Czech metalcore band from Prague, formed in 2009.

Formed in September, 2008 by five Russian guys passionate about music and willing to create something different from what was going in the local scene at that moment and with member’s age ranging from 18 to 21 years, the band surprisingly quickly started writing its own material and playing gigs. Soon after releasing their first EP entitled “Traits” (which was uploaded in full length to their myspace and was also available for a free download) Apostate has officially become talk of the town not only in Prague, but also in whole Czech Republic, which led to them playing the shows all over the country.
