Formed in 2003, Argoth is a progressive metal band from Portoviejo in Ecuador.
Argoth was started by Jorge Garcia and David Alcívar on guitars, who were then joined by Erick Pinoargote (Agonia) on bass Jonathan Cárdenas (Rocker Soul) on drums.
With this lineup they began rehearsing covers of bands like Metallica, Iron Maiden, Angra, Gamma Ray and others. The band was shortly joined by Achilles Quiroga on vocals
Shortly afterwards Erick Pinoargote and Alex Quiroga leave the band to pursue their own projects and were replaced by Alex Loor (Rocker Soul) and Eladio Vera (Zigurath) respectively.
It is in 2009 that Argoth finally recorded a song called Justice and Revolution, written and recorded by Jorge Garcia and Eladio Vera.
In 2010 Jorge and Eladio, discouraged by the rest of the band decided to recruit new members: Wilson Chacón on guitar, Iván Benavides (220) on bass and Diego Saltos (Agonia). In 2011 a further change is
