Argyle Park is a industrial metal supergroup founded in 1994 in New York City. The band includes prolific industrial musician Celldweller (aka Klayton Scott), and is among one of his earlier metal projects. The band separated in 1996 and reformed in 1998 under the name AP2, as well as signing onto well-known Christian label, Tooth & Nail Records.
The band found extensive criticism from the Christian music scene, having been signed almost solely to Christian music labels for the entirety of their career. The band was condemned for having lyrical themes that were not evangelical enough nature, and finally separated in 2000 as AP2 due to both overwhelming controversy and bad sales through their label, Tooth & Nail Records.
