Arkhtinn is an atmospheric black metal and ambient act of unknown origin and membership, though Atavism Records, who released a limited cassette run of their debut album I (2013), states that they are 'from the north'.
Their first demo album I was more of a black ambient release with some atmospheric black metal elements. Starting with their second demo II (2016) they've become more domiently metal based.
Arkhtinn released a total of six demo album's between 2013 and 2018, until eventually the group's true debut album, 最初の災害, was released.
