Artilect is a progressive metal band from Jacksonville, Florida.
Originally a trio called Code Iris & Being, they added a vocalist and changed their name to Artilect.
Artilect’s aim as a band is to write hard, technical, progressive metal with influences from all other genres. Their debut album, Percept, was released in November 2012.
