Asgard was a Heavy Metal from Giessen, Hesse, Germany. They released just one album in their career, 1988's Dark Horizons. Tomi Göttlich (Grave Digger, Rebellion) was a member of Asgard, but left to join Grave Digger shortly after the release of the album. The band never released any more material. Despite their short career the album remains readily available to buy and was re-issued in 2008.
