ASTRAL DIVE is a progressive power metal band from Montale (Pistoia), Tuscany in Italy. Astral Dive was formed in 2006, initially consisting of Damiano Pierucci (drums), Federico Agresti (bass), Gianmarco Lotti (guitars) and Giovanni Vescovini (keyboards). The foursome share a love for power metal, and decided that this stylistic expression should form the foundation for their own musical explorations.
As the band evolved a certain amount of experimental features were incorporated into their compositions, and the addition of Chiara Manese (vocals) in 2008 expanded their creative possibilities even further. So far the EP Trauma from 2009 is their only release. [Biography ProgArchives].
