ATHEM is a progressive metal band from New Jersey, U.S. formed in 2004. The band has gone through several lineup changes and its current one consist of Will Shaw (vocals), Shawn Baldissero (guitars), Louis Vasile (guitars), Mike Haas (bass) and Alex Gonzalez (drums, percussion).
In 2005 Athem released a demo entitled Six Days Until Sunset and in March 2009 the band self-released their debut album, "The Extended Mind".
