Atlas Versus is a progressive metal band from Austin, Texas which the band dubs the, "Live Music Capitol of the World".
The band released their first EP titled "AV" in early September 2012 and followed it up with an instrumental version of the EP in September 2013, releasing a digital single in between. Atlas Versus is currently working hard on a full length LP.
Atlas Versus’ influences are taken mainly from progressive metal and rock, and include Meshuggah, Periphery, First Signs of Frost, Animals as Leaders, Rush, Tesseract, Stone Sour, All That Remains, Yes, King Crimson, Tool, Schleigho and BTBAM, amongst others.
