Atomvinter was a crust punk band from Gothenburg in Sweden, formed in 1991.
"Atomvinter started playing in the early 90s. Everything released so far has been recorded by them selves. The first line-up Consisted of Andréaz (voice, guitar), Christer (drums) and Peter (bass), who also has been playing with Christer in The Moonies. Peter left due to his lack of interest in punk and Joel (drums) and Christian (guitar) joined so Christer could abuse the bass while Andréaz could focus on the vocals. Some rehearsal tapes were recorded but not released. Joel and Christian left so Andréaz and Christer did some recordings with drummachine and tried a drummer who just didn´t feel right. In 92 Micke (guitar) joined, Andréaz took the bass and Christer was back behind the drums. This line-up recorded the debut CD released by Distortion.
