AXIDENT AVENUE were created late in 2006, when Violet's (Vox) and Valentine's (Bass) band went belly-up. They both had been wanting to start a sleazerock/glam-metal band for quite some time and they started looking for a new line-up. Ricky Holmes, a mind-blowingly good guitarplayer (and drinkingbuddy) joined the band a few weeks later. After playing with some different drummers, when none of them really worked out, Ricky introduced the guys to a good friend of his, Lucky DeVille. He played the drums like he was trying to beat the shit out of them and therefore turned out to be perfect for the band's wants and needs. (He also had a really cool 66 Cadillac, perfect for sleazy rock'n'roll transportation).
