Balboa (also known as Balboa [4700]) is a beatdown hardcore band from Eupen in Belgium, formed in 2008.
Balboa's first record was a demo CD called "A new champ is born" released in 2009. In the end of 2009, Balboa, Butcher, F.O.M.B. and Created Hate released a split CD called "Beatdown Heavyweights MMIX“.
After the release of the demo and the split, the band played a lot of shows and quickly made a name in the hardcore scene.
The band started to work on its full length CD, "No Mercy", recorded at Super Cheval production and released on 30/10/2010 by One Life One Crew Records from Germany.
In May 2012 Balboa announced a new line-up with Xavier on the bass and Ludo (ex Nasty – Oerjgrinder) and the band come back with a new album called, "Unbreakable", released on Good Life Recordings.
