Betrayer is a heavy metal band from Vicenza, Italy. Like many metal bands, Betrayer was formed in 1988 through a mutual love of classic metal like Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Metallica.
Betrayer released a demo called "Anthem to Sorrow" in 1994, and then split in 1995. The band reformed in 2000.
