The band Bitch was formed by guitarist David Carruth and Robby Settles in September 1980. Notorious frontwoman Betsy Bitch (real name Betsy Weiss), joined the band in December 1980, after being the only female singer to reply to an ad in Music Connection. The band already had a female guitarist, who was unhappy about a second bitch joining the band, and subsequently quit.
