BLACKKOUT is an US progressive power/thrash metal act from Saint Petersburg, Florida formed in 1984. The band released their debut full-length studio album "Ignorance of Man" in 1989. Bassist Darren McFarland and vocalist/guitarist Richard W. Elliott IV later went on to form THE LAST THINGS.
