Brachialilluminator is an avant-garde metal / avant-garde rock band from Vienna in Austria.
Brachialilluminator is a loose collective headed by Bozkovich who first appeared in the Vienna punk/ metal scene in about 1985. Bozkovich was member in and supporting a lot of bands, some as obscure as The Screaming Sisters vs. Die Leber and Gebrueder Goed and Stefan Weber, some a little bit closer to the small stardom like the Vienna metal outfit Malignom.
Around 2000 Bozkovich started the project "Brachialilluminator" with a few loose collaborators, resulting in for a long period as many concerts as outputs, namely two each. The third CD, Alarm! - Blaulicht In Rio, was released in 2011 and is as sonically diverse as its predecessors, New World Order (2003), and, Travels (2004). This time though, there are more woodwinds, more funk and more swing loosening the metal basics...
