Breed of Burden is a metalcore band from London in England, formed in 2010 by Morrocan multi-instrumentalist Aladdin Benmira.
The band started as a solo project of Aladdin who was living in France at that time. Aladdin aimed to bring his ideas to life and experiment his own vision of metal.
When Aladdin realized his first demo “Tantrum”, he was forced to slow down his musical ambitions due to personal occupations.
The World is Sick (2011 – early 2012):
After moving to London/UK, Aladdin decided to give life to some elements of the Tantrum project. He started recording the instruments tracks in November 2011 at Parlour Studios (Napalm Death, Evile…) In December 2011, Aladdin got in contact with vocalist Joe Denby through a Musician’s website and both guys met later on during a concert of Blaze Bayley.
