Bridge To Solace was a Hungarian hardcore / metalcore band from Budapest, formed in 2000.
Bridge To Solace's unique sound featured the devastating speed of hardcore punk, heavy metal-influenced guitar melodies and both heartfelt and political lyrics.
They had three releases: the debut album "Of Bitterness And Hope" featured spoken word interludes by Greg Bennick (ex-Trial singer) and sung choruses; the slightly conceptual EP "Kingdom of the Dead" featured female vocals. Their second full-length "Where Nightmares And Dreams Unite" was released on their European tour in May 2006.
Bridge To Solace's final album, House of the Dying Sun, was released in 2009 on GSR. Bridge To Solace split up in 2010.
