BROKEN BONES picture
Broken Bones is a UK82 hardcore punk/crossover thrash band formed in 1983. Formed by Anthony 'Bones' Roberts after he left Discharge, Broken Bones has released eight studio albums, and many other releases.

After releasing "F.O.A.D.", Broken Bones took a much more thrash-dominated route with the following two albums. Broken Bones broke up before reforming in 1996, releasing "Without Conscience" in 2001. These later releases have a mix of crossover thrash and classic hardcore.

Broken Bones has been an influence on many metal bands like Metallica, Anthrax, Hatebreed, and Slayer. the latter citing them as a main influence.
