CACUMEN was a German heavy metal/hard rock act from Ingolstadt, Bavaria formed in 1972 and along with SCORPIONS and FAITHFUL BREATH (later RISK) were one of the earliest heavy metal acts from Germany. It took almost 10 years before CACUMEN was signed though and they didn´t release their debut full-length studio album until 1981. They released two further albums before changing their name to BONFIRE.
