CLANDESTINE is a progressive metal band formed in 2006 in Los Angeles, California by vocalist June Park, guitarist Dan Durakovich, and bassist Mark Valencia.
The band's style is based in melodic metal, progressive metal, electronic music and pop, making for an accessible yet unique approach to progressive metal. This style was first debuted with the band's self-titled EP from 2006, which garnered rave reviews from critics everywhere. The band then spent 5 years writing and recording their follow up as well as making a name for themselves live.
2011 saw the release of their first full length album, The Invalid. The album pushed the boundaries of the band's sound and is a great display of the band's creative prowess. Clandestine will appeal to fans of melodic progressive metal such as Dream Theater or Fair To Midland.
