Cleric is a five-piece technical groove metal band from Aberdeen Scotland, formed in late 2011.
Cleric’s first release was an EP Split in early 2012 with fellow Aberdonians Brace; A Swollen Tongue & High Hopes. In April 2013 Cleric released the EP, The Cavernous Maw, also through their Bandcamp site.
Cleric appeared on The Fat Hippy Records Sampler Volume IV, contributing the song Orbs, Limbs and Scales, and released through iTunes on 29th October 2012.
Having parted ways with vocalist Ben in February 2013, Cleric has recruited the iron lungs of Dan Vegas to step up to vocal duties.
