Cobzweb is a heavy metal band from Madison in Wisconsin.
Cobzweb consists of three brothers: Dave Cobb (Bass, Vocals), Denny Cobb (Guitar), Darren Cobb (Drums) as well as a brother-from-another-mother: Dale Roberts (Lead Guitar).
Cobzweb has been playing in a band together literally since they were kids and were influenced early on by bands like Accept, Iron Maiden and Van Halen. Later in their development bands like Metallica, Slayer, and Megadeth became influences.
Cobzweb has been the opening act for W.A.S.P., Nevermore and LA Guns to name a few.
The band describes its music as, “Old school metal. Not cookie monster, Not speed metal, Not death metal...just metal”.
