Colonel Claypool's Bucket Of Bernie Brains was an American experimental supergroup featuring bassist Les Claypool, guitarist Buckethead, keyboardist Bernie Worrell, and drummer Bryan "Brain" Mantia.
Though the group was not necessarily very heavy, Les Claypool plays for Primus, a band that is largely focused in the prog metal and funk metal genres. Buckethead is a proficient solo artist, and many of his records contain influences from prog metal, industrial metal, and avant-metal.
Colonel Claypool's Bucket Of Bernie Brains released one album titled The Big Eyeball In The Sky. The band was alternatively called C2B3, and they were active from 2002 to 2004, on the label BMI.
Their music is sometimes referred to as indie rock.
