Colour Haze is a stoner rock/psychedelic rock group formed in Munich, Germany in 1994. As one of the oldest bands of the German stoner scene, their early material is heavily influenced by the music of Kyuss and Black Sabbath but grew gradually mellower and more melodic over time.
The band was formed by guitarist and vocalist Stefan Koglek alongside bassist Christian Wiesner and drummer Tim Höfer. Wiesner and Höfer were ultimately replaced with Philipp Rasthofer and Manfred Merwald respectively although Höfer would perform production and engineering duties on several Colour Haze releases after ceasing to be a full time member of the band.
