Communion of Souls; a Heavy Metal/Classic Rock band with influences from seventies and eighties bands. Knut Pram and Karl Olav Nordengen founded the band in 2012. They both play guitar as well as writing the songs. Along came eventually highly respected musicians Torbjørn Dybsand (drums), Johannes Hulleberg (vocals) and Affen Eitrheim (bass). The band members have played with several bands during the last two decades such as; Shellshock, Blind Orphans, House of Fear and Dead Maple to mention some. Torbjørn and Johannes also plays in progressive metal act Permian Incident. With their reputation, the band’s like a supergroup from the Middle/Inland of Norway.
The name Communion of Souls is about friends with common interest in the same music and having a lot of fun playing it. The music has influences from “old school” bands such as Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osbourne, Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy, Led Zeppelin, Dokken, Queensryche
