Conditioned Response was a metal band from the United States that began their career under the name Pavlov's Dogs, under which they released their first album entitled Conditioned Response in 1995. After changing their band name to match that of their debut, they re-released it as Pavlov's Dogs in 1997, effectively swapping their band and album name around.
A second actual album, In Flagranté Delecto, was released in 1999.
Early in their career the band played Progressive Power Metal, but over time they shifted into more of a Melodic Heavy Metal act. The band split up in 2003, their final release being the EP Black Box.
