Cor Scorpii is a Norwegian (Sogndal) melodic black metal act that was formed in 2004 from the remains of the band Windir after the death of Valfar. However by 2010 the only former Windir member still active within Cor Scorpii was Gaute Refsnes (keyboards, clean vocals).
The group released their debut album Monument in 2008. A second album, Ruin, followed a decade later in 2018.
