Counterblast is a crust punk / sludge metal band from Jönköping in Sweden, formed in 1993.
Counterblast incorporates punk rock, thrash metal, death metal and industrial elements into its sound, which has been compared to Amebix, mid-period Neurosis, Dystopia, and Cult of Luna.
