Formed in 1997, Crisálida is a progressive metal band from Santiago in Chile.
Crisálida fuses rock, metal, folk and ambient, melding influences that include common Pink Floyd, Opeth, Anathema, Los Jaivas, Porcupine Tree and Fulano.
Crisálida has appeared at Rock Chileno and Leeds Festival in 2009 and has supported amongst others The Gathering and Deep Purple.
