Born in 1980 in Málaga, Spain, Daniel Bautista started playing the guitar in 1993. From 1994 to 2001, he was involved in many bands with various styles; pop/rock, punk rock, heavy metal, speed metal, thrash metal, black metal and nu metal.
Late 1999, Bautista was approached to play the guitar in a band called Mr. Frog (later renamed in Hipospadia), an avant-garde metal project similar in style to Mr. Bungle. Daniel then joined the band Ciruelo Cilíndrico until 2008 when the band split up. During the next 2 years, Daniel played in a cover band called El Gran Houdini. Three fourths of the band created in parallel the prog-metal band Progside. Daniel has also been involved with the thrash metal project, Evil Inside, a nu-metal band Daementia, and a black metal project Mördare.
