Daydream XI is a progressive power metal band from Porto Alegre, Brazil. Mixing hard rock, power metal and progressive metal, Daydream XI is a band with no self-imposed boundaries.
Formed in 2008 the quintet have played with bands like Angra, Symphony X and the former Iron Maiden vocalist, Paul Di'Anno.
The band's debut album is being produced by Jens Bogren, head of the world class Fascination Street studio, in Orebro, Sweden, and is set to be released during the second semester of 2013.
Daydrean XI cites bands including Angra, Blind Guardian, Dream Theater, Dr. Sin, Evergrey, Freak Kitchen, Metallica, Pain of Salvation and Symphony X as influences.
