Decontrolled is a metalcore band from Begrade in Serbia, formed in 2002.
Decontrolled began as a solo project of Marko Tica, a drummer from the band, Apocalypse. After a few months, the project started to gain attention in Serbia with the release of a few demo recordings.
In the beginning of 2005 Marko joined the band State Of Gray, where he found a few people interested in taking part in Decontrolled. Over the following months the band self-released a demo pack called "Unleashed" as a compilation of all earlier demo releases.
The end of 2005 brought the band its first solid line-up who released another demo, pre-album release "Self Portrait" and also a split demo disc with Draconic.
Decontrolled’s debut album "Self Portait" was officially released December 1st, 2008. At the end of 2009, the band finished the recording of the second album, titled "The Circle".
