Deimos is a melodic death metal band hailing from the north-banks of San Antonio, Texas. The band was formed in early 2000 by founding members Steve Fernandez (guitar/vox) and Derrick Rutledge (bass/second vox), both looking to take a stab at their own creations in the style of some of their influences and at the same time explore different aspects of the music. With the entrance of Justin Leonard (drums/ percussion) in late 2003 and Matt Mayer (lead guitar) in early 2004, the band has had two releases to date.
