Depths is a deathcore / death metal band based in Palmerston North in New Zealand, formed in 2009.
Having supported a number of acts live including Between the Buried and Me, Psycroptic, Thy Art Is Murder, Animals As Leaders, A Plea For Purging, Parkway Drive, Cruel Hand, Northlane, and I Killed the Prom Queen, the band signed to Deadboy Records late in 2011.
Shortly afterwards, Depth re-released their mini album ‘Resurgence’ with a bonus music video for the devastating track ‘Of Nothing’.
Early 2012 saw the single ‘Illumination’ hit the number 1 spot on the iTunes metal chart.
In October 2012 Depth released the album "Revelation" in which the band stepped up the brutality and intensity.
