Device was an industrial metal /alternative metal band from Austin in Texas, active between 2012 and 2014.
Device was formed by Disturbed front-man David Draiman after Disturbed went on hiatus. He and former Filter guitarist Geno Lenardo went to record new material in 2012, and they released their debut studio album in 2013.
Their style is a combination of industrial metal akin to bands like Filter and Nine Inch Nails, and Disturbed's style of alternative metal.
