A new band, a new album and a new website. This more or less sums up the events leading to this post: the first post this website has ever seen. We are DISSIDENTS, a progressive metal band hailing from the Netherlands and consisting of Joris Bod (Vocals),
Raymon van Vught (Guitar),
Joep Joosten (Guitar),
Willem Elbers (Bass) and
Matthieu Boer (Drums).
For more than two years we have been silently writing and recording our debut album “Sleight of Hand”. We just finished the whole writing/recording process and are very exited to share our music with the outside world. Our 11-track album was helmed by producer Erwin Hermsen (Toneshed Recording Studio) and mastered by Tesseract’s Acle Kahney (4D Sounds). The cover artwork for the album was created by our guitarist Raymon van Vught.
