Dr. Acetone was a doom metal / stoner metal band from Ånge in Sweden, formed in 2014.
The band changed its name to Eartheater after personnel changes led to the introduction of hardcore / d-beat and grindcore influences, moving the band in a sludge metal direction.

"Formed in the middle of march as Dr. Acetone by Johan and Lars to perform at a band contest, Manne was called in to handle the low end. The original line-up featured Lars on drums instead of guitars. In the beginning the band played a Monster-Magnet influenced blues rock, this however quickly morphed into a heavier metallic sound with influences such as Electric Wizard and Mastodon.
In early 2015 the band recorded a demo at Trackline Studio, the sound of this release portrays a transition between the early sound and the recent. This demo was put out first as cassette with 20 copies. The
