ECITON are a Danish, Copenhagen based death metal act formed in 2000 by former members of JEEL. The band was originally called INDESPAIR. The band have been through several lineup changes. Two of those changes were due to the primature death of bassist Søren Maibo and drummer Eskil S. Frantzen. The band released the "Oppressed By Contempt" demo in 2004 and released their debut full-length studio album "Oppressed" in 2005 through Adipocere Records. Their second full-length studio album "A Scent Of Veracity" is set for release in April 2010 through Mighty Music.
