Ego is a progressive metal band from Cleveland in Ohio.
Ego combines the power of prog, fusion, and its own intense instrumental riffs that have accelerated it to the next level. Guitar virtuoso, Mike Risko composes all of Ego's creations with the collaboration of experienced keyboardist Dan Schostek. The band has released two CDs, their self-titled debut in 2006 and "Resistance is Futile" in 2011. Inspired by bands like Dream Theater, Return To Forever, Fates Warning, Planet X, EGO brings scorching leads, powerful rhythms, and creative hooks that transcends audiences and makes this band who they are.
