Electric Love Hogs was an American funk metal band from San Diego, California formed in 1990. The band's name was a satirical take on the L.A. glam metal scene of the late 80's, though the band made use of the style as well as thrash metal into their funk metal sound. They released one studio album in 1992 and broke up the following year. Guitarist Dave Kushner contributed to the song Punk It Up, from fellow funk metal band Infectious Grooves.
Vocalist John Feldmann went on to form Goldfinger in 1994. Drummer Bobby Hewitt went on to form industrial/nu metal band Orgy.
