EMISFERI PARALLELI is a progressive metal band from Spoleto, Italy. The band was formed in November 2008 by Luca Arcangeli Conti (bass and vocals), Alessandro Esposito (keyboards and vocals) and Fabrizio Felici (guitars and vocals), all who played together in their former project Semi Infermità Mentale. In August 2009 two new members joined the rising band: Alessio Silvioli on drums and Andrea Benedetti on vocals.
Thanks to the good chemistry between the five musicians, new ideas transformed into new songs that displayed influences from seventies Italian Rock progressive sound (PFM, Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, Biglietto per l'Inferno, Osanna) together with more recent progressive metal/symphonic sounds (Symphony X, Dream Theater, Angra).
Emisferi Parallelli’s debut album, Il Giardino delle Delizie, was self-released in 2012 and is based on the famous painting by Hieronymus Bosch ;'The Garden of Earthly Delights'.
