Emperor Of Myself is a death metal band from Greece. The origins of the band can be traced back to 1994 when Dimitris and Alex Polizos played together in a band called Solitaire, with friend Nick “Sick Unfit” . The band recorded seven albums, now all lost.
In 1995 the three regrouped as a punk rock band called Sound Vision, singing in Greek. Dimitris was then to join the Greek Army Special Forces for 18 months. In 1999 and out of the army, Sound Vision was reformed and released a demo and a CD. A few gigs later and the band had split up.
In 2006, Dimitris started to create music on his own, leading him to work again with his brother Alex and eventually forming the death metal project, Emperor Of Myself.
In June 2013, Emperor Of Myself released their EP, If It Bleeds You Can Kill It.
